Every girl dreams of being The Karen in their man’s life. You’ll get what I mean if you watch Californication.
That fairy tale scenario in (probably) every girl’s head of domesticating the elusive Mr. Commitmentphobic; that this slippery Mr. I-Have-Girls-Tripping-At-My-Feet will one day trip at his own feet, mumble incoherent words and blush at the mere sight of her shadow.
What a sight that will be. What a feeling it will be.
But you see, this kind of fantasy may have became a reality for some and will remain a fantasy for most. There is that fine line between enjoying the moment and savoring the momentary pleasures and concocting in your head that it’s real and can last forever.
Until he says it is. Until he shows he wants you in his life. Until he’s sure of what he wants.
Until then, spare yourself the hurt. Don’t just move on. Move forward.
Drag your pretty little feet. One teeny step at a time.
I’m a firm believer that he who likes you, makes it known that he does. And makes you feel that he does in every way, however little way he knows how. However roundabout way he knows that he cares. But he lets you know. One way or another.
And I’m just saying, if the person you like thinks you’re not worth their time, attention or love… Yet in your heart and in your mind you know you’re a great person (don’t be delusional, though!), then they’re not worthy of you. 😉
Meanwhile, here’s that super kilig video from Californication. ♥♥♥
“… damn, you smell good… like home.”
